about ordering


The Organized Knitter accepts payment via Paypal or credit card (Mastercard or Visa).

what to expect during checkout
There are three pages during checkout. The first page is your shopping cart. On this page you can view what you have placed in it, get the shipping price based on your location, find out how much tax will be (if you live in Washington state I need to add sales tax), add a gift message, and apply a discount code if you have one. To take items out of your shopping cart please mark the amount as zero and click the Recalculate button at the bottom of that page.

The second page is the Payments page. On this page you can view your order total, enter your address and a separate shipping address if there is one. Please note, I need a valid email address to contact you regarding you order and it's ship date.

The third page is a review of the information so far. Hit the back button on your browser to change anything. At the bottom of this page you have two payment options: credit card or Paypal. Chose one and hit Continue.

Hit the Continue button and you'll go to a secure page where you can enter your card information. When you click the Order Now button you'll be given your order number on the confirmation screen. Your card information is taken on a secure server and is not sent through email at any point. I'll process your card and sent you an order confirmation email with a shipping date within a business day. All order information is cleared from the servers when payment has gone through. I accept card information through secure servers at Mal's e-commerce and payments are processed at Propay. The item will show on your bill as "sales@organizedknitter.com".



Paypal
If you chose to pay through Paypal after you click the Continue button you'll automatically be taken to a Paypal page with your total and The Organized Knitter business information already displayed. If you do have a Paypal account you can sign in from this page. If you do not have a Paypal account it is ok, you don't need to sign up for one to use a credit card to pay. Look for the words "If you do not currently have a PayPal account Click Here" in the center of the page, click that button to continue. Once Paypal lets me know, I will send an Order Confirmation email to you with a shipping date, usually within a business day.

The pages at Paypal will have sections for Shipping and Tax, however since those are included in your total already they will show zero on the Paypal pages.





about shipping


The Organized Knitter ships via USPS Priority Mail to locations in the US. I ship regular mail to Canada and locations outside of the US. Shipping to the US and Canada is $7 for one case, $9 for two. Shipping outside of the US is $9 for one case and $11 for two.

Cases are made to order, so please allow up to three weeks for the case to arrive, usually much less. However, between October and January please know it can take up to five weeks (I'll do my best to stock up before). You will receive an email from The Organized Knitter when you order has shipped. I ship on the Friday of each week. When your order has shipped I will send you a notification email. Shipping inside the US takes no longer than four days.

The Organized Knitter will not cover customs fees to orders shipped outside of the US. We cannot calculate customs fees for your area, please contact your local customs office to determine what fees might be charged to you. The Organized Knitter will not accept returns of packages sent back because the recipient refuses to pay the customs fees. Please be aware of what customs fees might apply to you.

I use recycled materials for packing and shipping whenever possible.
